The Official Olympic Video
I ended up calling the 49ers and asking for the official video of the infamous incident - for some reason I knew it had to exist. Given how much people loved the story, the video of my shorts did not really capture the moment...
On the phone, I knew I could not tell them who I was or why I really wanted the video. Instead, told them that my uncle was one of the Olympians honored and we were having an big family reunion and thus the video would be the perfect touch...as they say, one lie leads to many more lies.. either that or the niners are simply way to gullible. In any case, I have to hand it to them, as they were more than happy to cooperate.
