I am that guy who waits every year for this contest. Just kidding. Since Family Guy was a repeat, I was more than happy to watch this instead.
I dont understand why this considered a big deal. I mentioned it to some people, and they started clowning. I gave them comps and then they shut up, just kidding. I mean hot women and bathing suits. Sounds like an unbeatable combo. Add in accents and the chance to see one hot indian girl, and I am in heaven. In all honesty if Family Guy was a new episode, I think watching Stewie would take precedence. I think that sums my life there. I rather watch a cartoon with a baby with a football shaped head over hot girls. Oh well.
I was lucky enough to watch the beginning with my roommate, my roommates bro and some of his friends, of which one was a white girl. There is power in numbers. All the girls were smoking, and we were all excited to see how India's vote would blow everyone away. Even though there is no chance we would ever meet her, we could claim she is ours. When Italian fans talked shit about World Cup, we could say we have the hottest girl alive.
When the Indian girl came on, with her raggedy hair and child bearing hips, I was flabbergasted. Out of 1Bn people, this is the best we could come with. Where is Amrita Rao when you need her? Katrina Kaif? Fuck bring Sri Devi or Maduri Dixit our of retirement.
Autopilot went on and I yelled, "What the fuck? She is so whitewashed! Are you kidding me?" Then it hit me, that there was a white girl in the room. My roommate looked at me in shock, and then we busted up. I was glad that she did not make the top 10- she did not deserve to. I hope she does not try to enter Bollywood. Anyhow, here is a pic of Miss Sharma.
And this is a video of some girl who goes to Minnessota, who should have been our representation. I wish girls like this were at Cal. Sadly, all we had was the Rat Pack and girls that we affectionately called Splinter. Granted I am not much to look at, but as they say, "those who can do, and those you can't teach" or better yet "suck it easy." Enjoy
BTW, I think Miss Puerto Rico, who won the contest, is a poor man's Ash Rai. So in the end I think India still wins.
